If so, here’s a meeting you can’t afford to miss! Shifting Gears is an evening session offered to high school seniors and their parents to learn about the academic programs and student support services available at Las Positas College. Las Positas College is a great alternative for students looking for a smaller Community College with a younger student population than you’ll find at DVC. With only 10,000 students and a spacious, new rural campus setting, this may be a good fit for the student wanting to get involved in the campus and utilize club and leadership opportunities! Shifting Gears will be held Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 in the LPC Physical Education Complex – doors open and info tables are manned @ 6:30pm with the program running from 7-9pm. Need more info? Call Julie Thornburg at 925-424-1421 or jthornburg@laspositascollege.edu.
